This year The Big Draw Festival theme is Climate of Change. Southwark Park Galleries’ location in Southwark Park means we are connected to the local flora and fauna that exists here, some of which is endangered, and pushes us to develop creative approaches to climate change.

As part of the Big Draw, we have developed a Digital Ecology Pack, for families to do at home. The pack contains a set of simple instructions with suggested easy-to-source and recycled materials to use and an estimated time for the activity. The packs are intended for children aged 2-11yrs, the younger you are, the more your adult will need to work with you.

Fani Parali has drawn from her exhibition Aonyx and Drepan & The Minders of the Warm and invites you to create mythical creatures that live underwater in Thinking by Inventing. Be inspired by real animals and their habitats and imagine hybrid creatures with different qualities!
