Lino Printing: Exploring Southwark Park through Multi-Layered Print with Artist Associate Alexa Lowe

Come experiment with the Lino printing method to create a composition inspired by Southwark Park. Starting with initial sketching from nature, we will be focusing on breaking down our initial composition to form and colour as well as considering the use of patterning to create an effective and meaningful print. Participants will be challenged to explore multiple layered prints.

Alexa Lowe is an artist interested in exploring the voice of the mark, through a range of materials and methods. She is interested in how the process of making brings thoughts into being and works with different community groups to encourage and further develop creative expression for all.
