Want to learn how to make a short film? Are you 13-19 yrs?

Learn how to use video, shoot your surroundings, and create a collage of events that interest you. Sign up to these free filmmaking workshops this summer with artist Shepherd Manyika.

Using the Afrofuturist film Space is the Place (1974) written by Sun Ra as inspiration, Shepherd will encourage you to experiment with your ideas and camera. You can work independently or as a collaboration.

You know you can also work towards your Bronze or Silver Arts Award certificate… you don’t have to spend your money, it’s on us.
