Go on a virtual adventure and create together our own atmospheres, distilling everyday happenings and moments into universal, global happenings. All from the comfort of your own home.

Join artist Flora Duley in bi-monthly workshops over Zoom. In these sessions, we will work and discuss ideas of the domestic and utopian, private and public, analogue and digital. We will make kinetic sculptures, sound recordings, experimental film and photography, illustrations, comics and drawings.

The workshops are free and open to all with creative minds over the age of 55. Each attendee will receive a kit of materials to use for the duration of the project. So sign up now!

No previous art experience is necessary to join these sessions, but you will need the internet and a computer or device to access Zoom, a free online video communication service. For those who don’t have internet or access to a computer or device, or would like to take part in a less virtual way, please get in touch with us and we will make corresponding arrangements.

For security reasons, booking is essential and places are limited. To book please email us at learning@southwarkparkgalleries.org

Virtual Atmospheres is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Big Lottery Community Fund, Arts Council England and Southwark Council
